The PPSBN is a program of the Catamount Institute. Our mission is to “inspire ecological Stewardship.” Since its earliest days Catamount Institute has looked at innovative ways to encourage people to think about their relationship to the environment. We work with many schools in the Pikes Peak region teaching our youth about nature using science as a tool. Our award-winning Young Environmental Stewards program teaches disadvantaged youth about leadership, ecology, and technology. To have the greatest impact on the community, we re-initiated the Pikes Peak Sustainable Business Network to convey the advantages of sustainable business practices locally.
