Fine Arts Center, Labor Day on the Lawn with Arlo Guthrie Monday, September 6th, 5:00, Monument Valley Park west of the FAC The FAC presents legendary folk troubadour Arlo Guthrie in concert in Monument Valley Park on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 6. Guthrie, best known for the songs, City of New Orleans and Alice’s Restaurant, played at Woodstock in 1969 and now he will play the first FAC concert in the park: “Labor Day on the Lawn.” The venue is the lawn just west of the FAC in the historic Monument Valley Park, surrounded by trees with outstanding views of Pikes Peak and the Rocky Mountain Range. Picnic food by Amuze and a beer garden will be available inside the FAC beginning at 5 p.m. The park opens at 6 p.m.; the show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are just $32 and are available online at csfineartscenter.org or by calling 719.634.5583.
